Christmas -- New Year hours and services
The Far North District Council's Environmental Management
department located at the John Butler Centre will be closed from
12 noon Friday, 23 December 2011 until 8.00am Monday, 9
Between the period of Wednesday, 4 to 6 January 2012 inclusive
a limited service only will be offered. Limited services to be made
available are building inspections, animal control and monitoring
services. Full department services with the exception of liquor
licensing will resume on Monday, 9 January 2012.
Building and resource consent applications can be received by the
council during this period of closing but full processing services will
only resume on Monday, 9 January 2012.
Liquor licensing functions will close 12 noon Friday, 23 December
and resume in full Monday, 16 January 2012.

The Far North District Council's service centres and libraries will be
closed at the following times during the Christmas / New Year period:
Council Offices / Service Centres
Kerikeri (Procter Library) and Kaikohe Service Centres will be
closed from midday Friday 23 December 2011 to 8.00am
Wednesday 04 January 2012.
Kaeo, Kawakawa and Kaitaia Service Centres and Environmental
Management (John Butler Centre, Kerikeri) will be closed from midday
Friday 23 December 2011 to 8.00am Monday 9 January 2012.
Rawene Service Centre closes Thursday 22 December 2011 and
reopens Tuesday 10 January 2012 at 8.00am.
Kaitaia, Procter (Kerikeri), Kaikohe and Paihia libraries will be
closed from midday Friday 23 December 2011 to Wednesday
4 January 2012.
Kawakawa and Kaeo libraries will be closed from midday Friday
23 December 2011 to Monday 9 January 2012.
Paihia: Open Christmas Day 8.00am to 2.00pm. Boxing Day:
8.00am to 6.00pm. New Year's Day: 9.00am to 6.00pm.
Otherwise open through the holidays 8.00am to 7.00pm daily.
Kaitaia and Hokianga: Closed Christmas Day. Open all other
days 8.30am to 5.30pm.
