After their national computer system business changed direction, and
they saw a different opportunity, Elodie and John Vujcich decided it
was time to open up shop. That was back in November 1996 and thus
Bay of Islands Computers, Kaikohe was born. They've come a long way
since then with a sister shop in Waipapa which opened in November
2007 and was one of the first shops in the Waipapa Village Mall.
Bay of Islands Computers provides a local service that looks after all
your computer needs for home or business or school, including sales of
all computer -- related equipment, service and repairs of computers,
regular support, network design, and network infrastructure. More
recently wireless networks have become a specialty, with the business
providing networks for schools, motels and other businesses, and even
linking areas within towns.
Bay of Islands Computers are not just shop-based and their four
technicians will travel to where they are needed. They have sorted
computer problems in a tar truck and on a barge in the Bay of Islands.
